Agenda and Program

Tentative Agenda

All times are Central Standard Time (CST). Concurrent sessions are suggested, but we will entertain abstracts from all directions.

Monday, April 19
1:00 - 6:00 PM
Virtual Wisconsin Field Trip
The conference will feature several videos of tours and interviews associated with significant human-wildlife conflicts in Wisconsin, including Wolves, Black Bear, White-tailed Deer, Canada Geese, and Sandhill Cranes. In addition, we will tour of some unique Wisconsin sites, including: Aldo Leopold's Shack, Horicon Marsh, Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge, International Crane Foundation, Great Lakes Visitor Center, Mullen Cheese Factory, Point Brewery, and Lambeau Field-Home of the Green Bay Packers.
1:00 - 6:00 PM
Poster Session
The online Poster Session will feature works currently in progress, preliminary results, and concepts across a wide range of issues. The Session may include a short recording that explains primary features of the poster and a live Q&A period.
6:00 - 8:00 PM
WDM Conference Virtual Social (live Zoom session)
A true Wisconsin social normally would be overflowing with beer and cheese curds, but because of the Covid pandemic, you will have to BYOB. Never-the-less, we will provide a live Zoom session for scientists, managers, administrators, private practitioners, students, and others interested in WDM to convene and engage in conversations. Breakout rooms will be available for specific groups on request.
