HOSTING A COFFEE BREAK
The Program Planning Committee is looking for folks to host the coffee break sessions during the virtual 2021 Annual Meeting. Our hope is that these breaks in the schedule will provide people an opportunity to informally network and find fellow freshwater scientists and educators.
For example: you could host a coffee break to talk about new methods in a particular subdiscipline; to unite alums and friends of a lab or graduate program; to network with others interested in similar geographic areas (e.g., tropical montane rivers); or even people that share similar hobbies, affinity groups, and more. We welcome creative suggestions that enrich the virtual meeting experience this year!
If you are interested in proposing a theme and leading a coffee break session, please fill out this form by April 30th. You can also co-host with someone else and please include the emails of all those that want to co-host the coffee break.
