Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve Optional Tour - Friday, September 27th
The Nature Conservancy has generously offered to host an "Open House" tour at their Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve from 8 am to 10 am on Friday September 27th for Private Lands Partners Day attendees. Located about 5 minutes off Interstate 15 between the Salt Lake City airport and the conference venue in Ogden, the preserve is conveniently located at 1002 South 3200 West, Layton, Utah 84041. This opportunity is offered complimentary by The Nature Conservancy, but we ask that you indicate your intent to visit the preserve during the registration process so we know how many people to expect.

Travel Information:

Driving Directions - From Salt Lake City International Airport: Start out going northwest on TERMINAL toward LONG TERM PARKING A. Continue going straight onto AIRPORT EXIT. Merge onto I-80E towards Ogden/Provo. Merge onto I-215N via exit #117 towards Ogden Drive Time:44 min.

Other Vehicle Options - Rental cars ,taxi companies, airport shuttles and ride sharing services Uber and Lyft provide transportation between Ogden and the Salt Lake City Airport. Rates vary. Please see this link for some transportation options

Train Transportation - The Salt Lake City area also has a train-based public transportation system that offers service between the airport and Ogden. The service between the airport and Salt Lake City is known as TRAX and the Frontrunner offers service between Salt Lake City and Ogden. See directions below and visit TRAX and Frontrunner on the web for more information.

Once at the SLC airport take the Green Line TRAX to the first stop, Frontrunner station.
Take that train to the Ogden Station.
