Service Projects
Service Projects provide a wonderful opportunity for you to inspire your youth. Most organizations have a hard time keeping groups larger than 50 people busy, so be sure to contact them well in advance to discuss opportunities for your group. These arrangements are your responsibility.
American West Heritage Center

Groups will assist with everything from gardening to cleaning walkways, painting, planting vegetables and general upkeep. Typically, the entire summer is open for service projects at the farm; however, service projects are not available during the Festival of the American West. Family Information & Resource Center

The Resource Center is a place for children. The center offers a library of books, stuffed animals, and other items children can check out. Groups interested in scheduling a service project at the Center will work on taking inventory, cleaning toys, and making hygiene kits.

Happy Factory Toys

Happy Factory Toys manufactures wooden toys for children in third world countries. Your group will be varnishing toys with mineral oil. This project is a good one for groups of 100 or more.

Boy's and Girl's Club

Bear River Head Start

All of us know how our elders love and enjoy the company of youth, so we have compiled a list of local Centers where your group could spread some joy, be entertained, or entertain the patrons.
Groups of 50 or less are ideal.
Cache County Senior Center

Some of our past groups have spent their time visiting the Center's patrons, teaching basic computer skills, or washing their fleet of vans.
Hyrum Senior Center

Past groups have staged programs including singing, instrumental mini-concerts, and storytelling.
Providence Assisted Living Center

Your youth group can visit with the residents, entertain them with singing, share stories, and play bingo or other games. All volunteers are welcome.
