Midnight Swim & Gym
Cool off in USU's pools or sweat it up with a little basketball at our Swim & Gym. Included in the fee for our three-day conferences, your group will enjoy an afternoon activity at our Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER) facility. In addition, two-day and three-day conferences can schedule midnight swim and gym activities. Please plan to bring your own sports equipment and towel. Facilities include the pool, basketball and racquetball courts. This event is a huge hit with the youth, and provides them with an opportunity to wind down before lights out.
Cost: $2.50 per person
Team Building Activities
Arm your youth with the tools they need to be effective leaders and team members. We will engage them in activities to expand their teamwork, communication, problem solving, and goal setting capabilities with our two-hour Team Building Activities. We'll work closely with you during the planning process to customize the activities to meet the unique needs of your group. Limited to groups of 100 participants or less.
Cost: $5.00 per person, per two-hour activity
Ropes Course
Conference Services can offer a three-hour ropes course program. Whether communication, leadership, or team building is your main focus, the staff at the ropes course is highly trained and capable of providing a learning experience beneficial to all in a unique setting. Mine Field (Communication)
Experience the importance of communication and concentration as your group partners up and attempts to conquer a field of explosive landmines. A person is blindfolded and must listen to the instructions called out from their partner to get from one end to the other without stepping on a landmine.
Channels (Teamwork)
With this energetic activity your group will learn how to work together to get the job done. Each member in your group will have a “Channel” and they must use their “Channels” to get as many marbles as possible from the starting line to the finish line.
Traffic Jam (Problem Solving)
People heading north and people heading south, it's chaos! Your group will have to put on their thinking caps to figure out how to get everybody home one at a time without breaking the rules.
